Charles Pepper of Dover died Thursday August 18, 2011 at home. He was 73.

Mr. Pepper was born November 6, 1937 in Dover, Delaware to the late Granville Pepper and Marion Touchstone Pepper.

He had served in the Delaware Army National Guard. Mr. Pepper worked as a veterinary assistant for Governors Avenue Animal Hospital in Dover, for 50 years. He enjoyed wood working, square dancing and was a big sports enthusiast.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Granville “Bud”, Harold, Donald and Fred Pepper and sister, Marion Warren.

Mr. Pepper is survived by his daughter, Michele Lynn Pepper Trampe and her husband Paul of Fredericksburg, Va; brothers, George Pepper and his wife Louise of Dover, Richard Pepper and his wife Ester of Felton; Bill Pepper of Dover;

A memorial service will be held 12pm Monday August 22, 2011 at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover. Friends may call one hour prior.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 92 Reads Way Suite 205, New Castle, DE 19720.
