Life Legacy
Barbara Ann Probst of Greenwood has gone to see her Savior Thursday September 23, 2010 in Delaware Hospice Center, Milford. She was 46.
She was born January 19, 1964 in Dover, to C. Robert and Ruth Probst. She graduated from Dover High School in 1982 with training in the dental care field. In 1985, her adventuresome spirit took her into the US Air Force Reserves, where she served until 1995. During that time, she was fortunate to visit such places as Germany, Spain, and Portugal, and met Yuk-See Ng, one of her closest and dearest friends. Barb attended Delaware Technical and Community College and completed her studies as a Dental Hygienist. After working at Dental offices in Dover and Camden, she moved to Sussex County and joined the staff at Brafman Family Dentistry in Dagsboro.
She is survived by her mother Ruth Probst of Hartly; her father C. Robert Probst and wife Catherine of Dover; brothers Robert Probst of Dover, Ron Probst and wife Heather of Woodside, and Don Probst and wife Judi of Harrington; sisters Donna Doherty of Hartly, Carol Lavender and husband Sherman of Smyrna, and Michelle Probst-Freese and husband Kevin Freese of Dover; nephews and nieces Ronnie, Christian, and Hailey Probst, Taylor Probst, Ryan Doherty, Shane Roop, and Dylan, Meagan, and Logan Freese; a large extended family; special friends Yuk-See Ng of South River, NJ and Patti White of Dover; her horse Captain and cats Miley and Boo.
